Strange Days 2020 makes a presence at the Clinton Global InitiativeRobert Rubin, former Secretary of Treasury, presented Edward Norton and Mark Shelley with a certificate for the Strange Days 2020 commitment in front of an audience of several hundred attendees at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York. Edward and Mark made a commitment to create large-scale awareness in the U.S. of the interconnections among the global challenges of climate change, poverty, health, and natural resource degradation; to showcase opportunities for holistic, collaborative problem solving; and ultimately, to substantially enlarge the corps of globally minded U.S. citizens committed to sustained, meaningful action to advance solutions. The certificate notes their commitment to engage, inspire and enable a vast community of citizens with the knowledge, civic will, tools and resources needed to solve the global freshwater crisis.
